| Women's Ministry Summer Bible Study | Womens Summer Bible Study
I just wanted to let all of you know since we had such a great time last summer, we are planning on doing a summer drop-in style Women's bible study open to all women! Tanya Wyma and Karen Rissmann will be facilitating the study and it will meet in the church courtyard (unless it rains and we will move inside) on Thursday mornings from 9:30-11:15 a.m. starting June 7. The study we will be doing is a Fruit of the Spirit on Peace. Jennie is working hard at finding childcare as we plan on having it available for anybody who would like to participate. Please invite anyone you think might be interested. We will make books available for pick up at Lifeway, but please feel free to come any if you haven't picked up a book. To help us accommodate book orders and childcare numbers please contact Kara at evan42dk@yahoo.com if you have need of either or if you have questions

Weekly Worship Bulletins
April 29, Inner Mission Thursday, April 26, 2012 (559 reads)
1. Read the entire book of Philemon as a group (only 25 verses altogether). What can you pick up regarding Paul’s relationship with Philemon? What about Philemon’s relationship with Onesimus?
2. What “child” do you think God is calling you to mentor? Is there someone within your sphere of influence that you can invest Christ in? What might that look like?
3. Paul requests Philemon to welcome back Onesimus (even though he ran away) as a brother – not out of duty, but out of love (verses 8-9). Are you motivated more by duty or more by love?
4. What do you feel is your “duty” as a follower of Christ?
5. What would it take to change those dutiful things into simply a response to God motivated by love?
6. How might you respond within our church walls as an “inner-mission” to reach those already in your midst to grow in their relationship with Christ?
7. Spend some time in prayer asking God to reveal that person he is asking you to welcome in the name of Christ.

April 1, 2012 One Blessing After Another Friday, April 06, 2012 (832 reads)
Why do you think John chose "the Word" (John. 1:1, 14) and "light" (1:4-5) as metaphors to describe Jesus? What significance do these descriptors have for you?
What significance do you attach to the care the Apostle John took in describing John the Baptist’s role in regards to Jesus (1:6-8)? What guidance does this description give us in regard to our own relationship with Jesus?
How many blessings (1:16) can you derive from this passage (1:1-18)? Then in a time of celebration, why don’t you build a catalogue of other blessings?
Explore why 1:10-11 may be two of the saddest lines in scripture. Then explore why 1:12-13 are grace scriptures.
Why, in your judgment, has it been suggested that 1:14 may be the most important verse in scripture?
