Women's Ministry Summer Bible Study
Womens Summer Bible Study
I just wanted to let all of you know since we had such a great time last summer, we are planning on doing a summer drop-in style Women's bible study open to all women! Tanya Wyma and Karen Rissmann will be facilitating the study and it will meet in the church courtyard (unless it rains and we will move inside) on Thursday mornings from 9:30-11:15 a.m. starting June 7. The study we will be doing is a Fruit of the Spirit on Peace. Jennie is working hard at finding childcare as we plan on having it available for anybody who would like to participate. Please invite anyone you think might be interested. We will make books available for pick up at Lifeway, but please feel free to come any if you haven't picked up a book. To help us accommodate book orders and childcare numbers please contact Kara at evan42dk@yahoo.com if you have need of either or if you have questions

Ways to be a part

•  Several growth groups have included students, sign up to get plugged in.

•  Evening Connections Classes usually have several university students. Some become affiliate members and others become members.

•  University students serve in a variety of ministries within our church, like small group leadership, music ministries, and youth and children’s ministries.

•  Internships in Family Ministries cooperate with the Whitworth University Certificate for Ministry program.

•  Other internships have been formalized as well such as our college ministries intern and an intern for worship ministries.

•  When the university is in session approximately 100 students are spread throughout the three worships services and the adult education classes on Sunday mornings.

•  Many WCPC members serve the college as volunteers (and others, of course, as staff and faculty).

•  Many student projects take place in our congregation. This includes observing of ministries like small groups, meetings and interviews of church leaders.

•  The Host a Meal for College Students ministry is a new ministry that connects students to church families.

•  The Deacons are currently exploring new ways to care for college students.

•  All group ministries are encouraged to be welcoming to students and help them be included as full participants in church life.
