Women's Ministry Summer Bible Study
Womens Summer Bible Study
I just wanted to let all of you know since we had such a great time last summer, we are planning on doing a summer drop-in style Women's bible study open to all women! Tanya Wyma and Karen Rissmann will be facilitating the study and it will meet in the church courtyard (unless it rains and we will move inside) on Thursday mornings from 9:30-11:15 a.m. starting June 7. The study we will be doing is a Fruit of the Spirit on Peace. Jennie is working hard at finding childcare as we plan on having it available for anybody who would like to participate. Please invite anyone you think might be interested. We will make books available for pick up at Lifeway, but please feel free to come any if you haven't picked up a book. To help us accommodate book orders and childcare numbers please contact Kara at evan42dk@yahoo.com if you have need of either or if you have questions

  Sunday School

Whitworth Church has one of the best Sunday School hours for children in town due to the fantastic Children’s Ministry Team dedicated to the God’s Word in Truth.  This group of dedicated volunteers has a passion for children and is anxious to build relationships with each other and with each child. Their goal is to bring others into a deep and loving relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We believe that we have the awesome privilege as Christians to represent Jesus and model what it means to be a disciple of His.

We begin our Sunday mornings at 9:30am in the Promiseland Sunday School room with singing and music as we worship God together led my our Jammin’ for Jesus Worship Team.  We then begin Large Group time where the Bible Point is energetically taught.  Sometimes this is through a drama, with a teacher and co-teacher or through a video teaching depending on the curriculum needs for a particular Sunday.  After Large Group the children move to their Small Group time where the Bible Point and Bible Verse of the week is made relevant to the children’s lives.  This is done through games, stories, crafts and discussions among the groups.  Groups are divided by age group and even gender in the upper elementary grade levels.  Small Group leaders are consistent leaders throughout the year so that the children are and feel emotionally, physically and spiritually safe with their groups.
